This business didn’t start as just another label company.

It started with loss, love, and the decision to keep moving forward.

In 2013, our founder, Ian Jefford, lost his daughter Elizabeth in a tragic car accident.

At her funeral, something remarkable happened.
Her schoolmates had arranged for a star to be named in her honour — in the Phoenix constellation.

The phoenix is known as the symbol of rising again.
And Elizabeth’s birthday was on the 27th.

From that, Phoenix 27 was born.

Not just as a name — but as a reminder.
That even in the hardest moments, we keep going.
We rebuild. We create. We move forward.
